The Flow of Life

It must be my creative nature and the urge to explore and experience new aspects of life, leading me on a journey from being born in Germany to living in the San Francisco Bay Area today.
I have walked in many different shoes from fashion design to traveling to becoming a certified naturopath to creating my art, to becoming a mother. Life is my inspiration and my teacher. The urge to understand its lessons has led me to explore different philosophies and the teachings of our ancestors.
I adore the abundance and beauty that surrounds us. Beauty gives us joy and it lights up our existence - it fills us with passion and brings us back to our center when we get lost in life.
Creating my Artwork is my meditation, my time to reflect and process.

I am a self-taught artist. I always created, however, Spirals and Sparkles - ‘Candies for the Eyes’ - was born in 2003 when I settled with my husband and 2 small children in the East Bay of San Francisco. As my educations from Germany were not accepted I found myself at a new chapter in my life, having to reinvent myself not just as a mother but also in my choice of building a new existence. In the end it was the urge of creating and the dream to manifest myself , following my deep calling in the country of unlimited possibilities.

Today I am managing part of a Non Profit Organization of Independent Artists, called ‘Red Umbrellas’. We are blessed to be showcasing our work throughout San Francisco's Parks such as Union Square, Golden Gate Park, Washington Square etc. ( providing Fine Artist with the opportunity to build a successful independent carrier.

Joining this group has enabled me to thrive as an artist with the main focus on one of a kind Original Art. My body of work is appreciated by art lovers from all over the world for its unique style and its positive energy.

Those who love Marion’s work say that her art ‘ … brings harmony…. it brings you back to the present moment …. it charges you with positive energy….’

Her sense for color and the energy of her work draws you in at first, but than as you get closer you start to discover a universe of beautiful details.

Her work is a labor of love that playfully brings together her painting skills with handcrafted flowers and beads , collected shells and thrift wood, as well as vintage jewelry, paper and complimentary bits and pieces into the simple form of Mandalas, The Tree of Life, The Divine Feminine and other Meditative Inspirations.
Every Art Piece is accompanied by an inspirational quote that relates to the dynamic of color and flow.

As the flow in life continues I come to combine my talents and knowledge in holistic healing with my artistry. My background as a integrative wellness coach has comes to life in my Mandala Journeys.
My vision is to use the art of mandala creation as a tool for healing and self-discovery.
Over the last 20 years I have experienced the transformative effects of creating mandalas through private circles and coaching. I am passionate about sharing this wonderful tool through my Mandala Journeys with you.
My workshops invite you to explore your creativity and engage in creative reflection. I like to offer an experience, where you have the opportunity to lose yourself in the process of revealing your unique mandala, leaving you with the possibility of renewed inspiration leading to your well-being.

Why Creating Mandalas ?

I have always been interested to understand about peoples life and their stories. Life’s lessons and the individuals journeys inspire me to look into a deeper layer beyond the surface of our outward world. They open a window to a wider and deeper understanding about us humans and our individual interactions and challenges. Everyone's life journey is so unique and in constant change while we grow.

Mandalas can reflect this journey in a creative way. The process from that tiny little spot in the center to the expansion into a beautiful blossom can help us understand our journey of the momentum, its connections and interactions.

The Mandala becomes a Self-Integrative Ritual

A vehicle for concentrating the mind - so that it may pass behind its usual fetter, providing the ability to become aware of the patterns and stories that silently run our lives, while bringing forth your sacred geometry of the momentum.

I have come to understand early that in order to find balance and healing, we need to be our own healer through self-love, self-education and self-care. This can only happen if we take time to get to know our-self. Our joy, our sorrow, our triggers, our unfulfilled longings and the stories that our mind tells us. Finding our truth within. The creative process of Mandala Meditations can help us to listen and start the journey to understanding .

Naturopathic medicine is a system that uses natural remedies to help the body heal itself.

Naturopathic doctors (ND) or doctors of naturopathic medicine (NMD). They usually attend an accredited four-year, graduate-level school. There they study basic sciences similar to those studied in conventional medical school. They also study nutrition, psychology, and complementary therapies such as herbal medicine and homeopathy. Some states and territories require naturopathic doctors to become licensed. That means they have to pass an exam to practice and take continuing education classes.

Phytotherapy is the use of plants or herbs to manage health conditions. It also refers to substances that come from plants or herbs. Medicinal plants and herbs are a form of complementary medicine. These are therapies that you can receive alongside traditional Western medicine.

Health and Wellness Coaches are wellness experts and mentors who help others feel their best through personalized diet and lifestyle changes. Health Coaches work with clients to help them discover the best routines that work for them and empower them to meet their unique health goals.
