**Discover the Benefits of Qi Gong**
When a friend or loved one is in need, we often offer them our love, attentive listening, compassion, and understanding. But how often do we extend these qualities to ourselves?
In my teachings of Qi-Gong, I invite you to take some time for self-care and self-discovery.
Qi-Gong is a practice that can help you better understand and meet your needs by slowing you down, allowing you to listen and feel while combining soft, gentle movements of the body with a calm, expanded state of mind.
The term “Qi” means “energy” or “life-force,” “vitality,” or “the very breath of life” that animates every function of our body and mind. “Gong” is a general term meaning “work” or “skill,” so Qi-Gong can be translated as “breathing exercise” or “energy work.”
While a Qi-Gong session may appear as a collection of graceful movements and simple stretches, beneath the surface, profound powers are at work.
The gentleness of this practice loosens, clears, relaxes, and shifts stressors, enhancing your body’s natural healing potential. It encourages you to tap into your inner resources to bring forth whatever you need to feel more vibrant and calm.
The best part about Qi-Gong is its simplicity. It requires no equipment, little space, and can be practiced in a short amount of time anywhere.
I invite you to join me for one of my classes and experience the benefits for yourself!
